Ninian: Oracle of Destiny
➤ 3rd unit to get Dance Assist skill
➤ Flexible ways to give allies DEF and RES buffs
➤ Fortify Dragons give +6 to both DEF and RES
➤ Receives effective damage against Falchion users and Naga
Ninian is a new manakete dancer added to Heroes’ roster. Even though she is a dragon her BST (Base Stat Total) is low compared to the other manaketes. She is currently the third unit in this game who can enable another ally to move again with Dance/Sing skill. Now, players who want a team composition with a dancer/bard have an option between Azura, Olivia and Ninian.
Her weapon is Light Breath, if she initiates combat she can give +4 DEF and RES to her adjacent allies for added bulk to them. This will give you options as to whether you want to give an ally another chance to move or give them added survivability depending on the situation. If ever you find your Ninian cornered and low in HP, she can also escape danger with her passive Escape Route and teleport to an ally to safety even on the other side of the map. Finally, the last skill on her set is Fortify Dragons which buffs ally manaketes’ DEF and RES by 6 if they are adjacent to her at the start of the turn. This opens up for dragon team compositions but unless we get an offensive version of this buff, we can’t make an overpowered dragon team.
Karel: Sword Demon
➤ He can use his Special almost every battle
➤ Additional +10 damage when performing his Special
➤ High reward for bringing his HP to low
➤ Must be played with caution
As some may say, Karel is what Lyn aspires to be in this game. Karel is a deadly revenge killer in a way that if you can’t ORKO him, he can wipe your whole team or the other way around if he is on your side. Karel’s weapon is Wo Dao that gives +10 damage when he performs his Special. His Special is Reprisal which has a 2 charge cooldown that he can execute almost every battle granted that he do a follow up on his target. Think of him like Catria, who seems to always use her Special whenever she goes in battle. He is also packed with Defiant ATK that actives when he is below half HP that boost his ATK by 7. This synergizes well with his last passive, Desperation, that makes him do his follow up immediately after his first strike when he initiates combat below 75% HP. This makes him better than Lyn with Galeforce in being a high risk high reward unit which for her, is very hard to pull off in the current flow of games in Heroes.
Priscilla: Delicate Princess
➤ Big heals for target with lower health
➤ Can buff RES and DEF of allies
➤ Covers a lot of ground
Priscilla is the mobile version of Wrys or Lissa. She has burst heal that scales with her target’s missing HP. She also has defensive buffs from her Special Still-Water Balm and a passive aura, Spur Def. Again, like the other healers we have in the game, their value is still pretty low.
Jaffar: Angel of Death
➤ High ATK and SPD stats
➤ Different ways to weaken his enemies
➤ Has to pick carefully on which mage to target with his low RES
Jaffar is a ninja that packs a lot of punch with his high base ATK and SPD combined with Life and Death passive and is equipped with Deathly Dagger, which has the highest damage of all the current daggers in the game. His dagger can both debuff and deal non-lethal true damage after combat. In the situation where he can’t finish off his target, his allies can easily kill them after with all the casualties done to them by Jaffar.
Rebecca: A Wildflower
➤ Has a heal
➤ ATK debuff on target enemy
➤ +6 SPD when initiating combat
There’s seems to be nothing special about this girl except as a back line support with her high offensive stat and Threaten ATK passive but other heroes can do this job better.
Lucius: The Light
➤ Inflicts 10 non-lethal true damage to enemy after combat
➤ Miracle can make him endure death
➤ His heals scales with lowering his HP
Lucius has an interesting skill set that makes him slightly unique to other healers but not really any better. First thing you’ll notice in his skills is Miracle. Miracle, like its name, is a Special with a 5 charge cooldown that when Lucius’ HP goes down to 0, he turns it to 1 and survive that combat. Note that Specials of healers can be charged through healing, meaning Lucius can heal his allies to charge his Miracle so it will be ready in case of emergency. This works well with his healing skill, Martyr, that scales his heals based on his own missing health (but it add +1 charge to his Special’s cooldown making it 6).
